"The vending business has been a Godsend! I could not always make a living doing what I love to do, even when I was single, and I certainly would not expect a wife and possible future children to depend on that. However, I didn't want to give it up either because that would mean giving up who I am! So, I had to make a choice: either give up my dream, give up who I am, give up on the prospect of having a family, or find a business that provided security and enough time and control to keep doing the things that I love. It was during this most life determining dilemma that Planet Antares introduced me to the vending business, and it has completely filled the bill."
TESTIMONIALS

We have partnered with thousands of home-based distributors, and many of them have written glowing remarks back to us about their success and happiness. Read below for just a few examples of distributor testimonials.

As a new owner of three Office Delis we have undergone an amazing transformation in our thinking about how to approach our lives. You may think that is a bit of an exaggeration but in reality running this business has infiltrated almost every other part of our lives.
Take for example, how we make purchases. Never before did I pay any attention to expiration dates but now I look at every label for every item I am going to buy. And how about my time management? Never before have I had to make sure that I fit in something so vital as our business into my already full schedule. Yet, somehow it all fits together. Another area is the family. Never before did I think there was a way that I could do something to pass on to my children that would be viable for them to do. Now one of my sons-in-law is helping me with the business.
One of the best parts of running this business is that it does not run our lives. When I am home after filling my machines, I don't think about them again until the day I need to refill them. They aren't people. They don't keep me awake at night thinking how am I going to deal with this person or that person? They are unemotional, unfeeling, and unable to reason. Someone once put a sign on one of my machines that said, "Does anyone know who owns this machine? It stinks! " I kept that sign, because in it was all this fury and frustration relating to the machine that did not give him something he was owed. I did not have to calm down the machine and tell it, it's all right. Next time try to do a better job. NO. I simply left the man the 750 and that ended that episode.
Too many people are looking for the homerun. The way to a quick fix and then they'll be happy and secure. In this business you hit singles. Maybe a double if everyone uses the machine and doesn't go out for lunch. But if you hit a lot of singles, your average is phenomenal and you are eligible for the Hall of Fame. Why? Because you have consistency. You know how the system works and you just stick to it.
To finish, we've written a little poem. It just summarizes how we look at the business. Hope you like it.

Wow! Thanks to Planet Antares, we have been in the vending business for two years! In that two year span, we have been glad EVERY DAY that we started our business. Working with Planet Antares made it easy to start our business! A business that we do not have to work at 24/7! We are very grateful for the opportunity and the continued encouragement that is offered.
We started with 5 Office Deli's exactly two years ago. Today, we have 15! And due to our rapid expansion, we invested in a 12-foot "box" truck with a lift. This makes deliveries of food and machines so much easier and more efficient. The money from our machines easily pays for the loan on the truck. Right now, any extra money goes right back into the company. We know that is the best and fastest way for our company to grow. The more machines we purchase, the more machines we can place. The more machines we place, the more money we have. The more money we have, the more machines we can purchase. The more machines we purchase, the more machines we can place. The more we place, the more money we have! What a WONDERFUL cycle!
Our coaches are great and always help us with any problems and/or questions we might have. Machine placement has been a cinch! The variety of the Office Deli makes other machines a poor competitor. We love the fact that the machine is actually three parts. (That is actually how we decided on a company name: Triple Treat Vending.)
We know that the money we get from vending will provide us with "fun money" for years to come. We also know that vending allows us the time to take advantage of that "fun money."
Thank you Planet Antares!

When I first saw the Office Deli, I was in awe. The unit looks very impressive, the literature is awesome and the selection that is available, well, out of this world!
I have always wanted my own business and I was so thrilled at the possibility of it happening. I have a couple of machines going and am very happy with them. Yes, it is challenging, learning all about the products and how and what to vend in each location.
I enjoy the fact that I am my own boss, that I am able to have my own store, and that is how I look at this business venture. The possibilities are endless and I am looking forward to the day when my husband can join me on a full time basis and we will be financially secure.
I am having fun and that is what it is all about!

I wanted to write to thank you for the business opportunity and how the Office Deli Vending System has had a positive impact on our family this past year. I lost my $100k + job in March of '08. Trying to replace that income has been a challenge to say the least. In March of '09 we formed Sound View Vending, offering The Office Deli Vending Service in Western Washington.
While the business has not replaced my original income the 1st year of operation, it has allowed me to build it, look for other opportunities to help grow it, as well as help pay the bills! The biggest positive is that it has given me my life and family back. I am no longer married to my job 24/7. There is no dollar amount that can be set for the treasure of time with your family.
Without Planet Antares, and the Office Deli Vending System, we would not have been able to visit my oldest daughter in Rome, Italy during her study abroad program this past March. The picture enclosed is of my wife, my two daughters and me at St. Peters Square at the Vatican in Rome. This was definitely a "Bucket List" moment for me!
With Planet Antares' support, we look forward to the future that this business has to offer!
Thank you Planet Antares!

One thing I have learned is that life is full of unexpected surprises and changes. September, 2008, my husband and I planned our retirement late in life and invested in two office deli's to build a vending business with the help of Plant Antares and their great program and materials. We were very excited, energized, and confident we could build our vending business with all their help. With my husband working, we planned to grow five years and then retire with our vending machines. Plant Antares offered us an irresistible deal for two more machines and now we looked forward to getting four new Office Delis.
Unbeknown to us, life brought us additional surprises. Come November, just before delivery of our first two machines, my husband went to the hospital for open heart surgery. Fortunately, all went well, but now my husband was recovering and on disability when our first machines arrived. Being weak and still under a nurses care, just unwrapping the machines were intimidating. We began to question ourselves as to whether we made the right decision. Fortunately, family came to our aid and as we unveiled our machines, I had no doubt we could do this. With two more machines coming soon, I needed to place then immediately. My husband helped with the mailing list and with lots of prayer, I proceeded to canvas businesses in the area with the colorful brochure provided through Planet Antares starting program. The response was positive and encouraging. I placed both of them the first week I went out. Being unable to lift heavy items, we rented a moving truck and hired two men to help us move them the same day in December, 2008. Fortunately, I shopped for the product before the machines arrived.
By the end of January, 2009, we had all four machines in place. Now the work of servicing and making money began. As my husband healed, he was able to do more and help. What seemed overwhelming became a blessing. After returning to work the end of January, we were devastated when the company told him he was laid off. With the economy slowing down, jobs hard to find, and having heart surgery, finding a job seemed hopeless. Fortunately, we had our Deli machines to turn to. We were grateful for our new vending business and Planet Antares. It gave us hope and the benefits kept us going. Instead of being discouraged or depressed, we had something positive to focus on that the economy did not affect. Our machines paid for themselves and kept us afloat the whole year. Now it is April 2010 and my husband who is still unemployed has extra time to build another business. Our office deli's became the most timely and profitable venture we have ever made. It may take us longer to build our business for retirement, nevertheless, it saved us. Thanks Planet Antares! You helped save our necks.

Being a divorcee and a struggling real estate agent in 2009 I was in dire straits when I thought about my fate in today's economy. One day I checked my mailbox and received an invitation to a business opportunity seminar that would later change my life in many positive ways. There wasn't a whole lot said in the invitation so I wasn't sure what to expect but once the seminar started I was so impressed with what I saw and heard. I had never seen a vending machine anything like the Office Deli, and because of that I immediately thought of places that could benefit from its use. When I left the seminar I just kept thinking about how this business would be perfect for me because I am more of the entrepreneur type and the idea of a turn-key cash business with a customer service and tech support team to assist me was appealing as well not to mention I had deal after deal fall apart in my real estate business.
The next morning I was convinced that I was going to go into the vending business and I would need to do it right away because I didn't have an income coming in and I didn't want to exhaust all my savings without investing into something promising. Having a lot to lose is a scary feeling especially when making a decision to start a new business with your life savings, so with that in mind I met with Ms. Mary Carter to talk about my options and after pouring my heart to her about starting this business and my financial situation I felt like she really listened to me and at no time did I feel like just another sell to her she was quite personable and insightful. I set up payment arrangements to purchase 2 machines and shortly after completing my payment in full I received a call from my coach Chris Clark who offered the best customer service a girl could ask for. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about assisting me with jump starting my business.
The customer service I've received from Planet Antares has been awesome- actually better than what I expected. Whenever I call I receive prompt help, quality service, and questions answered. Today I have 4 machines and a very successful route with machines I've placed on my own and with the help of the wonderful mailing service you provide where I select the zip codes and you simply mail out the information about my business for me. Also, I love that you guys handle (and screen out) the responses from the postcard mailings.
Because of my vending machines I have been able to return back to college, travel more, have more leisure time and buy a company truck for my business. Real estate hasn't done much for me these days, but there are no worries because this April I will be celebrating my vending company's one year anniversary. Thank you Planet Antares for all your support.

My name is Joenita Castellani and my husband's name is Dennis Castellani. We have 3 Office Delis and we are so grateful to the good company who introduced this business to us, which is Planet Antares, Inc. We want to thank a very nice person, our coach, who helped us put all our vending machines in a very good location.
Before we bought and joined this business, my husband worked two jobs and we didn't have enough time for each other. Since this vending machine, he works only one job and we have more time for each other and enjoy traveling, especially in the summer time. Our vending machine helped us so much, paying our monthly bills and our daily expenses.
We are both happy that we have this vending machine because besides that it helped us pay our bills, we both enjoy doing this business together. We both are excited on the days we go and collect all the money on each machine and we plan to buy more Office Delis soon.
I call our vending machine my life saver because since the economy dropped, I work only 2 to 3 days a week and if it's not for this vending machine that we have right now, we might have lost our home, because I don't make enough money to help my husband pay our monthly bills and other expenses.
So in closing, we want to thank you to all the people from Planet Antares that has been involved in helping us make our business a growing success.
Thank you very much!
Dennis and Joenita C.

My wife and I signed on as Planet Antares distributors in 2007, and hit the ground running with three (3) units. In December of '08 we added three more units and a few months later two more units.
In July, 2009, I "retired" from full time employment with an employer after 34 years, at age 55. At my retirement sendoff, my facility manager asked me if I was going to come back as a part time "contractor" and I told him, "No, I'm going to be way too busy for that." I explained how I was in my third year of operation of a vending business and was doing very well with that, thank you.
It has been very gratifying for Janice and I to have our own business and additional income stream , given the poor economy and the iffy status of Social Security. It has provided us with our own "social security"and financial freedom.
Janice and I have three children, two girls, 9 and 8, and a boy age 5. All three have been included in our business, learning inventory purchasing and replacement, collecting and counting receipts, and refilling bill changers. They enjoy the participation, and the most beautiful part of it is that they are learning, at a very young age, small business operations and skills which will only benefit them in their own future financial independence and personal work ethic as they become adults. My son is still "pre-school"and when questioned by those we meet in our rounds if he goes to school he always responds, "I'm in business school."
Other aspects we enjoy with this business are 1) Cash Business, no "accounts receivable," we collect receipts, pay our regular operating expenses (with low overhead), and watch the bottom line continue its upward climb; 2) Flexibility -- we are thinking of relocating to another state, and if we do, we can close down operation at present location, pack all the "livestock" into a trailer, and reestablish the business with new clientele in the new location, or, keep the present location clientele and change its status to a "satellite" operation, purchase more units for the new location/clientele, and expand, starting an internal franchise.
We also believe the timing of our entering this business could not have come at a more beneficial time, considering the present severity of the national economic downturn. As we move within our community, we see so many empty business storefronts, so many small businesses that have fallen victim to the severe business climate downturn, that our particular business, in defiance of the present economic adversity, has continued to thrive and has been an exception to the current rule.
Our startup costs were recovered, not in the projected eighteen to twenty four months, but in twelve months we were operating in the black. We recently had a client request a coffee/hot beverage unit, so we bought a floor unit, and now we are in the hot beverage machine business as well. This was not intentional on our part, but simply a response to providing our clients with the products and services they desire. Our business motto is "We Ames to Please," and we take that motto seriously.
It might be a worn cliché, but is still very true for us in our business, our decision to become distributor affiliates with Planet Antares is "the best decision we ever made."

Hi! My name is Evelyn Scavo. We, my daughter Linda and myself, have been vending for about a year and a half now. It has really changed our lives. I am a senior citizen and a set income and Linda has been unemployed, full time, for about 2 years. She has been such a big help. I don't know what I would do without her. Before vending, I wasn't very active. In fact, I didn't do much outside the home except shopping occasionally and walking the dog. I had been looking for something to supplement my income, but I didn't know what I wanted to do. I had received a card in the mail about vending, thought about it, but didn't follow through. A few months later, I received another card and figured maybe it was a sign and was meant to be. So here we are, and it has been quite a ride!
After sending out the first round of pamphlets, I received a phone call from Tammy, the manager of Hertz Heavy Equipment Rental Company in Oakland. She wanted to know how soon we could get a machine to her, like the next day. She wanted it so badly (the machine she had was never serviced or refilled) that she sent her men and their truck over to pick it up. That was the start of my business. Eventually she referred us to Bryan, Manager of Hertz Equipment Rental in Pacheco, CA, and we were on our way. It took a few months before we had any more bites, but eventually Priscilla with "Lincoln Child Center" in Oakland contacted Antares who called us and we delivered our 3rd and last machine to them, and they have turned out to be our best customers. Due to the slowing of the economy, both Hertz companies have had to lay off employees so business has slowed somewhat. The Oakland Hertz company has slowed more than the Pacheco one, but they were our first customer and we have all become like family so we won't even consider moving the machine out of this business. I know that the economy is going to change for the better soon. We have been able to put some money aside every month, toward a family reunion trip, possibly next year.
Besides Linda, two or three more of my children have talked about the possibility of starting vending machine businesses of their own. Upon retirement, it is definitely a job that can keep you busy, and also keep a person on a very close and up front relationship with the people who use your products. With everything aimed at healthy and low calorie eating, it is good that we are able to find more and more healthy items available for vending machines.
It is kind of amazing how one thing in our lives can lead to more. Since starting our vending machines business, I have also started selling items on-line through E-bay. I have had quite a large amount of jewelry in my home that I have had here for several years. I tried having jewelry parties in my home, they didn't work out. After starting up my own business, it has given me the desire and the self-confidence I needed to get the other one going too. It has worked out very well, also. So "Thank You Planet Antares", you have changed my life.
Enclosed find a family picture of our Christmas Eve get-together last year. We do this every year at Grandma's house. As you can see, I have a good size family. By the way, I am the one in the front row(red sweater) holding the tiny baby, and Linda is in the second row with the Santa hat on. I hope this will encourage other people to take a chance. You just never know what will happen until you try. Good luck!
Evelyn J. S.

In 2009 we were in a financial quandary. We had a steady income but the financial market was in ruins. Along came another one of those unwanted mailings telling me how we could get rich easily. These are the type of ads I quickly dispose of. But this one caught my eye. Maybe this would be a place to invest while the market floundered. I signed up for the seminar without knowing what it was all about. A few days prior to the seminar my wife broke her hip. Oh, did I mention we are in our late 60's & I still choose to work 40 hours a week? To aid Kathy I said I was going to blow off the seminar. Kathy would have none of it. She forced me to go. At the seminar the more I listened to Theresa Atwood, the more interested I became in the program. I also knew Kathy would have none of it. When I came home the more she found out about the program, the more interested she became in it. We were extremely impressed with the pattern of hoops Planet Antares made us jump though to weed the serious investors from the not-so-serious.
We purchased 5 machines. The first day I went out to try to sell our wares I made 8 cold calls & we placed 4 machines. We knew we had a hot product & we stopped cold calling so we could figure out how to handle the placements. We were actually replacing existing machines. We were in a state of shock as to how easy this was.
We placed machines on a Friday. Saturday the phone rang. The coin changer at Harley wasn't working. We ran out to the site & acted as if we really had a clue as to what we were doing. After realizing we didn't know how to repair it, we contacted week-end support which told us what to do. We told the H-D dealer we had to see if we had a part back at the "shop". We went home, removed a changer from a machine in the garage & replaced the defective one with the aid of w/e support. We looked good. Our philosophy was give superior service, something the vendors we replaced didn't do. Since that day we knew we could rely on tech support which has gotten us out of many jams since.
My wife is a born bargain hunter. I never knew anyone who could make a living shopping before but she can. Our newly found vending business was right up her alley. She is constantly perusing the ads looking for soda or candy deals. She is in charge of menu programming so she is always looking for new items to put in our machines. We quickly discovered one size doesn't fit all. Each account requires a different menu dictated by the type of clientele.
We have now grown to the point that we recently acquired an enclosed air-conditioned trailer which we outfitted with shelving. This will really reduce our route time. We are rapidly approaching a point that we must decide if 1 retire from my pharmacist job & place all our efforts in the vending machines or hire someone to do the grunt work alongside Kathy till the business grows a bit more.
We have a completely different marital relationship now. Before I went to work and earn the income. Kathy made money for us at home be being a super homemaker & bargain hunter. She is an extremely talented lady & she has the nerve to do things about the house most people wouldn't have the guts to do unless they received training. This made her the perfect business partner because I am not as adventuresome. We are much closer now because we have a new entire arena we have in common. We chat, we explore, we argue & we plan together on a daily basis. We are having the time of our lives. While we have reached an age most are thinking of retiring, we are taking advice from the elderly couple in the Planet Antares video & also Colonel Sanders and making the most of our golden years. Neither of us regrets we have embarked on this adventure. We love it & appreciate the Planet Antares support.

In January of 2009, Bonnie and I knew we must go back to work after the economic downturn had a significant impact on our investments. It was time to start another business. Not long after my search began, I received an invitation to attend a Planet Antares seminar in February. I checked out the company on the internet, finding positive comments on every site I visited. At that point we decided to accept the invitation.
The Seminar was informative, enlightening and encouraging. I like the idea of a unique machine to take to the market place. I was even more encouraged to find the company would provide a coach and technical support, along with fire and theft insurance for each machine. (Starting a business in an unknown market without these benefits, would be risky at best.) I saw the Office Deli up close, while learning about its capabilities. Bonnie and I checked out the references and looked at potential locations. It was all positive so we decided to become a distributor. We ordered eight machines to take advantage of price incentives on future orders.
I was pleased with the information I received. The packet included such things as price ranges for products, how to set up the business, sources for food and beverage products; plus a call from our coach, Eugenia Cobb. (Eugenia has been proactive, unflappable, helpful and understanding.) A week later the matters, envelopes and company address labels arrived. I was impressed with the marketing quality and the focus on meals and side items. I also received self-promote incentives and mailers too.
We began by mailing the marketing brochures and contacting those we know about potential locations. Leads came in from the mailings and we found prospects on our own. Both approaches worked for us. The common thread is that companies are looking for ways to offer more than just the standard fare of beverages and snacks for their employees. They want meals, side items and beverages like Frappuccino and Red bull that require vending techniques found in the Office Deli. They like the versatility along with an expanded product offering.
We placed our first machine in April of last year and have nine in customer locations now. We have very good prospects with an existing customer; a lead from the mailings and another lead developed through our self promote work. By the end of the month, we expect to have twelve machines placed.
What gives me the greatest pleasures about this business are the customer relationships. Bonnie and I are welcomed when we arrive, which leads to personal stories being shared and product suggestions being offered. Customers appreciate our weekly visits and our frequent changes in product offerings. These relationships have been developed by following the recommendations of Planet Antares and making use of their product suggestions in the quarterly newsletter.
The most important news is we have established an income level that keeps our investments appreciating and secure without taking significant draws. Words cannot express the stress relief we have now. Our success is a direct result of Planet Antares honoring their commitment and dedication to provide support, advice and suggestions. The Dykes family vacations will continue!

It all began when I received an invitation in the mail to attend an evening seminar on the Office Delis. The presentation that was presented on the Office Deli left me very intrigued about the business opportunities.
After a few months of seriously thinking about the business and with many questions and research I embarked on purchasing two Office Delis. My two daughters Carolyn and Andrea were very excited about my new Business Endeavors, while my wife Betty Lou was reluctant about how this business would or could make money. I assured her that we should give the business a chance and see how successful we could become.
After much convincing to my wife Betty Lou about our new business endeavors, the two Office Delis arrived. A good friend helped me load the delis into the basement where I would have to put them together, test them out for any complications and then decide what products I would vend in them and what business I would place them in.
As always, first things come first, and it was now time to watch all the videos on how exactly the Office Delis worked and also how to repair them when they became out of order.
I could not get my wife excited about this new business we owned, so much of my stored up excitement had to be kept to myself as she was very skeptical whether or not the business would or could make us any money. My wife said "Are you sure you really want to do this? " my reply was "Yes!" With or without you the business at hand must go on.
One evening while at home, I informed my wife that there would be a meeting via telephone regarding the business opportunities and she had better be there for it. My wife thought to herself, "I don't really want to sit in on a business meeting with anybody from the U.S.A. regarding the business," as she was totally convinced in her mind that we wouldn't be making any money, so leave her out of the business loop. You can well imagine how I was feeling at this moment, angry and betrayed. After much heated discussion, she finally decided she would listen in on the meeting and what was being said but would not say anything regarding the business and that I should do all of the talking.
It wasn't until we had to come up with a name for our business that Betty Lou's interest was tweaked just a little. Many names for our business were brought up and Betty Lou not liking any of them came up with a very catchy name called "Starlight Ventures Ltd." Betty Lou thought if she had to be a part of the business then her name would be the one we would use.
A couple of weeks later we were informed that indeed our business name was not already taken and that we could use that name and it would be established. It took a few weeks before we started receiving messages of those contacts that wanted to see and hear more about the Office Deli.
There again I was on my own as Betty Lou was still skeptical about the Starlight Ventures Ltd business. She thought nothing will come out of these meetings anyways.
In the meantime I began sharing all my knowledge and brochures with friends and family so they could get a feeling for all the excitement that was stored up in me about the Office Deli. I still did not have my wife totally on board as she thought I would lose disability payments, then what would we do? As hard as it was I still persevered and met with other businesses to discuss the opportunity of placing a deli in their business.
It wasn't until Betty Lou found out through the Tax Club that I would not lose any disability payments and that she would be the owner of the business, however still skeptical she became a bit excited about Starlight Ventures Ltd and thought maybe we could earn a bit of extra money while meeting people and having fun.
My first placement in Saskatoon, Canada was a motor repair Shop called Cummins. They seemed rather taken to some degree about the Office Deli, so out went my first machine. A couple of weeks later I met with a gal in Saskatoon, Canada from the Atrium Eye Care and Dentistry. The contact person I met there was very excited and interested about the Office Deli, so there went my second placement. There were also other interested contacts that wanted to set up meetings with me in regards to the Office Deli. Unfortunately I had to tell them that the two delis I owned were now placed and if by chance one of the businesses want to pull out then I would keep them in mind.
It has been two months since I have placed my two delis. The first business Cummins was slow going and the Atrium has been very supportive and lucrative. I have since become in contact with a business called the Virtus Group, an accounting firm, who really wanted an Office Deli so I pulled my machine that I had in Cummins and placed it in the Virtus Group which has been a positive experience.
I would love to point out that since buying into the Office Delis it has done so much for me. Not only am I making a steady income each week but it has taken me out of my comfort zone. I was never good in speaking or interacting with people and because of Starlight Ventures Ltd I have built up my self confidence and can speak with people much easier and have fun doing so.
Also, I enjoy the "hunt" of going out shopping for the best prices in Saskatoon, Canada to fill my Office Delis which is always an exciting challenge for me. Finding out what people like/dislike is a learning curb for me which I also enjoy.
We are now achieving a steady income from both Office Deli placements, which my wife thought would never happen. It will be interesting where we will be financially in five years from now but I can only see us going steadily up and our income increasing.
In closing I would like to thank Planet Antares for having given me the chance to own my own business so that I can be free to be me. Also, many thanks for my support peers, especially Emifio, for always being there for me. A special thank you to my wife for allowing me to pursue this business adventure and believing in me. To my daughters Carolyn and Andrea, I hope to be able to invite you as silent partners into the business and hopefully one day they will own the Office Delis. For everyone else who helped this business come into fruition many thanks.

Our start in the vending business was a big step for us. My wife, son and myself decided this was the type of business we could do. I retired from my company over 10 years ago and needed to get busy doing something again. My son is a realtor and I don't have to say how the real estate business is in Florida! My wife and I are probably some of the oldest new business owners in the country. We are both in our late 70s and find this a very rewarding challenge!
We have only been working our business for about one year, but already it is in our blood. There is so much satisfaction to see our machines serving the public like they do. We only have three machines out, but they are all doing quite well, and we spend 3-4 days a week working them. Both of our locations are on the second floor of the respective buildings. We have two machines in one location, which is a training facility for bank employees. At this location the elevator was out of commission for about 2 months and we had to carry merchandise up the stairs. We were so good at keeping the machines supplied the employees would help carry the heavy drink cases up the stairs for us. It pays to take care of your customers!
It is very interesting to see what people buy. We try to give a good variety and we do change selections every so often. We also find that asking customers what they want is making our business much more successful. We try to give them what they want, even if it means going out of our way to get it. We do build a sense of satisfaction between us and the customer. We also try to change the merchandise around frequently, as this seems to please them also.
As we worked one of our machines yesterday, there was a note stating a customer had lost his money in the machine trying to buy water. The bottle had become twisted and would not dispose. We always try to make good on any losses the customer has. This was lost by a student in training and he had finished and gone home. We found one of his instructors who had his address and they agreed to return his money to him. They were incredulous that we went to the trouble to attempt to return his money! Situations like that are what builds our confidence with our customers and is a very important plan to stay with.
I have also become an expert machine fixer as we have a number of fixes to do on the machines. Our coach, Evon Gayton, is the best!! She is so helpful and patient and always willing to jump in and help me with repair jobs. I have always been handy with my hands but never worked on anything like these machines. We also had one of our machines almost trashed and we really had a big job getting straightened out and going again. We believe someone must have actually shaken the machine as all of the drinks were out of place as were numerous other things. I had a very "serious" conversation with the people in charge at the location and told them any more trouble like this and the machine would be removed from their location. It is vitally important to look out for your property and take good care of it!
When I retired from my company we thought we were in good shape money wise, but what happened to the stock market and our investments it all went downhill very fast. We lost a lot of investments and needed some help in another business. This is where our vending business came in and we feel we are on the right track now. It has taken some time to get it going, but we are confident we are on the right path.
We are now embarking on our second year and business is growing. Unlike the economy, we are confident we are in the correct business at the correct time. Thanks to the great help and confidence we get from Plant Antares we know we are on the right path.

One year after starting my vending business, my wife of fifteen years decides to file for a divorce. I moved out of my home where I had been living for twelve years and had two small children. I move out upon receiving divorce papers. Father of two children, Heidi age 6 and Justice age 5, I wanted to live as close as possible to my children. It was also agreed between their mom and I that custody would be equally shared 50%. My new apartment complex, now approximately 6 miles away from my children's' school and my job of ten years. I land a vending machine at my apartment complex, in a laundry room, right near the swimming pool. I instantly see high profits from Snickers, water, Cokes, Diet Cokes, etc. I have my kids every week end, and love swimming with them and watching people walk out of that laundry room with so many refreshments. My kids are so proud that I own this machine, and can get free Funyuns at the pool. Funyuns are my kids' favorite, and have been for some time now. This vending machine works so well here. It's always a great adventure, with my kids, to go check the machine. Kids love counting money.
Before this machine arrived at apartment complex, residents would mostly walk to a very nearby convenient store for all their refreshment needs. I visit the convenience store and notice the really high prices on all of the products I carry. Bottom line is "people love a good deal" . . . New machine for new chosen area.
Two years into the business now. Empire Vending has been fine tuned. I have learned what customers want at each location. I was also still working same job as a process operator at large refinery for ten years. Then one day a few months back, I lost my job. Empire Vending is now paid off, and is also my only source of income. Rent, child support, bills, etc., never stop coming in. Money from my vending machine which is open 24 hours never stops making money. Life has gotten difficult lately, but I'm so glad I have income from my vending machines. All day and all night dollars and quarters are pumped into my laundry room vending machine. It's so much help for my financial situation at this point, and by the pool, where my kids love spending time.
Losing a job of ten years with great pay, and great benefits really take an emotional toll on a person's soul. Vending has always given me a reason to wake up early and go be productive. I can always go find new vending products, fill my machines, or adjust and clean my machines. There is always cash upon arrival. I'm thankful in so many ways for having started my vending business before my divorce and unemployment status. Ten months into my divorce and awaiting community property court date. I have plans for expanding Empire Vending after my divorce is final. I love my new area.
I'm off to fill my vending machine now. Latino barber shop machine is first. I'm over due for a haircut and shave. My barber friend Elvin has been cutting my hair since my vending machine landed in their shop two years ago. It is so great to be able to get haircuts, run errands, or go swimming in between filling vending machines. Thanks so much Planet Antares for being there during situations in my life that I never imagined. I look forward to growing my business with you.

My name is Karen McDowell, my husband Ronnie and I have been in the vending business since October 2005. In 2008 we bought out two businesses that were for sale due to health reasons. Most of the machines were already placed, a few we had to place ourselves. In 2009 we paid off all our vending debt.
But in late 2009 we lost a couple of businesses, they closed because of the economy. We are looking to place them elsewhere, but we are still doing very well.
In February 2010 I was laid off from my job. I have been laid off before during slow times and have always been called back. So I expect to be called back this time in a few weeks. I'm so thankful for our vending business. We are able to use its money to help make ends meet. Otherwise, we would have been worried about bills and I would have been going crazy sitting at home all day. I'm glad I can get out and service machines.
Shortly after Christmas 2009 I started having some physical problems, headaches and blurred vision. I had my eyes examined. My doctor found nothing wrong that would cause these problems. So I went to see my family doctor. She thought it was a sinus infection. I took meds for 10 days still no change. So she made an appointment for a CT scan the following week. I was very nervous of what they might find. Then to make matters worse, I had to pay for the test because my insurance deductible had not been met. If it had not been for our vending business, we wouldn't have had the money. The test came back normal, what a relief, but we still didn't know what was causing my problems.
My doctor ordered blood work. It was possible I had diabetes, this scared me too. But I just wanted to get to the bottom of it. When the blood test came back to my surprise and joy, I didn't have diabetes. My potassium level was dangerously high. I stopped taking vitamins that contain potassium and started watching what I ate. You would be surprised the foods that contain high amounts of potassium. I had been drinking a diet shake for one or two meals a day and it contained 600m.
I continued to work the business through all of this. Ronnie and I usually go to businesses together but since I'm laid off I go alone. I enjoy meeting people, talking to them and getting to know them. We are on a first name basis with most of our customers and their employees. Sometimes they request items and they know we will do our best to get them.
Ronnie and I live in East Tennessee. He is an evangelist. We love to travel and see new places and meet new people. Our dream is to be able to leave our public jobs and work our business one to two days a week or even let our youngest son, Allen take over so we can be able to take off whenever we want.
With money from our business, we were able to give our oldest son an unexpected wedding gift, we paid the deposit and rent for their apartment. They were elated! So were we, they didn't have to stay with us for awhile. And we bought our youngest son a truck. It was used but he loves it and is happy.
I'm thankful every day for my family, friends and our health. For our jobs and our business. God Bless.

January 2009 was a particularly tumultuous time living in the Pacific Northwest. I'd like to think of it as my own "perfect storm." I was 2 years into a new Financial Services career when 7 clients consecutively cancelled their policies due to not being able to afford their now "unaffordable" mortgages. Customers couldn't afford their families while they were living, much less plan for the future. This sent my paycheck spiraling to zero balance for 3 months. Meanwhile, my aging parents continued to experience serious health issues. It wasn't out of the ordinary for me to drive 80 miles 3-4 days a week just to check-in. Eventually, my parents and I decided to form an LLC., which gave birth to Anytime Deli, LLC.
In order to maximize our investment, we immediately found 5 locations, added 3 more machines, and by month 10 we partnered with Coca Cola to have a total of 13 machines. Having The Office Deli's gave me the opportunity to continue maintaining interpersonal business relationships while sustaining critical family time. Having simple direct marketing support in addition to an accessible marketing coach made a difference!
Oregon's high unemployment climate not only meant fewer jobs, it also meant fewer employee's working longer hours. Having the Office Deli machines provided a competitive niche. I often heard, "Oh thank goodness you have entrees! We love the variety!"
Honestly, I don't know how I was able to pull it together because, here is the quick run-down of what followed - My dad was in the ICU 3 times and the nursing home 40 days. My mom suffered 2 more falls, a dislocated hip followed by surgery, also leading to significant time in a nursing home. Could I have a normal job thru all of this? Hardly! Having the vending machines allowed me the freedom to juggle time when I critically needed it and yes, I'm happy to say my family has realized the cash returns helping us pay our bills in addition to affording us time to take a 10 day RV trip to Eastern Oregon. We needed that break!

My Office Deli business started less than a year ago, and so far, I have enjoyed the opportunity to get out of the house, meet people, and earn money in my own business.
When my children were born, my husband and I decided that I would stay home with them, until they were both in school full time. At that time, I would look for a part time job to help with the income. I have spent a lot of time, thinking about what I could do on my own, so that I would not have someone else scheduling my hours. The Office Deli will allow that for myself and my family. If I want to help out with the school, or volunteer to help with a school fieldtrip, I will not need to schedule a day off from work. If my child is sick, I don't have to call in sick to work, I can simply fill my machines the next day instead. This will allow me the freedom to work during the hours when my kids are in school, so I can be done on time to pick them up after school, rather than sending them to after school child care.
A few times, I have had to bring my kids along to a location, to help me fill my machines. There are not too many business opportunities out there, where your kids can come to work with you, if necessary. They are still young, and have only the patience to help me with one machine on any given day, but when my husband is not home to look after them, it is good to know that I can still get some work done. One problem I had thought about when anticipating looking for a part time job after my kids were in school full time was, "who will look after the kids during the summer vacation months, while I go to work"?? No more worries about that, they will soon be old enough to be wonderful helpers!
The first phone call I received from a location, with a vending machine problem had me a little nervous. I had wondered how I would go about fixing a machine, should anything go wrong, it seemed intimidating. However, once I arrived at the location and took a look at the machine, it really was easy to fix. The times when I have really not known what to do, the technical assistance team has been a fantastic help to me. In turn, these events have helped to boost my confidence in myself, that I can fix the problems myself, and will not be phoning and paying anyone else to fix the problems which may arise with my vending machines.
This extra income will be fantastic, to help pay for family vacations, and kids extracurricular activities, such as dance, soccer and tae kwon do. Once I have 8 or 10 machines located and operating, my Office Deli business will be contributing to our household income as much as that part time job would have, for a fraction of the working hours. This will leave me with the time I need, to look after my family and house, grocery shop, play with the kids, and maybe even sneak in a visit with my own friends, once in a while, rather than just the kid's friends (Mommy time!!).
There will be a day when I no longer wish to service vending machines, and this is just the type of business which can be handed down to the kids someday, vending machines have been around for many years, and I feel like they will be around for so many more years, job security seems to be in place for years to come!
Thank you for bringing this opportunity my way!

I am happy to write this letter regarding our decision to enter into the vending service business. About a year ago, I left my job and decided to pursue other venues. This happened to be one of them. Planet Antares offered a "state of the art" machine that both my wife and I saw as being something innovative.
Once we got started, our reception from potential clients was warm. We started out with three machines, and placed one almost immediately with a prior business acquaintance who wanted the new snacks and cool drinks that were pictured on the brochure. After a little pounding of the pavement, we soon had the other two placed back to back. We never had to mail any flyers, I just handed them to the right people and discussed the advantages of my machine versus the ones they had. In two instances our machines replaced existing vendors.
All three machines are in car dealerships. The two that do the best are in plain sight of both customers and employees. The other, we helped by making a directional sign to improve the location. Through trial and error we have been able to maximize the drinks, snacks and entrees of all the machines. The employees love the variety and we change it up (still leaving the best sellers) so there is usually something different. Many of them get excited about the new items that we put in the Office Deli. Best of all, we are welcomed with smiles every time w< service the machines. None of the locations charge us any rent or commission. We give the "watchdogs" and some employees a few samples, Christmas gifts, but nothing that really costs our bottom line a whole lot.
The fact that the Office Deli machines come with warranties is invaluable. As with anything new, a "breaking in" time is necessary. Well the Office Deli is no exception. However, the good news is, the parts were covered under the warranty and so the machines had relatively short down times and our collective pocket was not stretched. Our representative, Evon, was also helpful each time we needed something.
For a little while, we performed numerous maintenance tasks and we learned more about the Office Deli than we would have liked. However, the machines are now going without much of a hitch. Each location has virtually no problems to speak of. We serviced a location today and by teaming up, it only took us twenty minutes to actually fill the machine.
The money has come in handy and we are able to pay a couple of household bills each month with the income from the Office Deli. We also took a tax deduction from the depreciation this year. One or two more machines and we feel that one of us can be in a better position to work less hours or actually quit one of our jobs.
We look forward to growing our business and having fun together as a couple doing something we enjoy.

Success of my vending business.
It is with great pride and pleasure that I report to you the great success of my vending machine business.
Thanks to Planet Antares, I am able to face these tough economic times with confidence knowing that my path to financial empowerment is secured, because of my successful vending machine business investment.
Starting my business was easy due to the expert and professional support that I received from my Business coach, Chris, and the inspirational support offered by Lauren Southam.
The mail out marketing techniques and excellent color brochures provided by Planet Antares resulted in my vending machines being placed very quickly. Customers have commented on the professional way in which they were treated and how informative content of our marketing brochures. The training videos have instilled in me the confidence to handle all aspects of my vending machine set up and service. On occasions my business coach did follow up by calling and asking about my progress. This made me feel good. Finally I can now live the American dream of being a successful small business owner with aspirations of expanding by business in the near future. It feels good to be home relaxing, and at the end of the week, I go to my locations to collect money. Thank you Planet Antares.

Three years ago, I purchased three combo refreshment centers, and a couple of snack machines. I was proud of my investment. In the beginning of my business venture, it was a slow start, struggling with customers, vendors and trying to keep everybody happy. But eventually I overcame those issues. The vending business was picking up. I later then bought more refreshment machines from other vendors selling in the state. I was overwhelmed of the business, it was a little bit, but that little bit helped pay my bills, such as electric, gas, water, and partial payment of my mortgage.
As we know, the economy in the United States is very bad, we hear unemployment is gradually picking up again. People selling their houses, foreclosures are the talk of the town. It was late August 2009; I was laid off from my employer, after working five years for the company. I began to feel the burden of the economy. For the month of September, I was late on my mortgage payment, and then I missed the following month. On that month that I missed my mortgage payment, my daughter Sharon, was in need of leg braces, because of her leg deformation. Since I was laid off, my health insurance didn't want to cover the braces or the doctor's visits. I was really angry at the moment; I was ignoring the vending business. The small route I was able to organize was being ignored by me. Everything was turning dark on me; I didn't want to speak to anyone or even see anyone. You see, Sharon is very special to me, when she was born, she was diagnosed with VSD, a heart related problem. Then to find out she needs leg braces, made me more depressed than ever. I will do anything for my children so they won't suffer.
After calling friends, relatives for a loan, nobody came through. Everybody was either broke, unemployed or just didn't want to hear my problem. After four weeks of ignoring the vending business, I received a call from a customer. "Michael, your soda machine is empty, are you going to fill them up soon?" Shortly later, another call from a school principal that was interested in a refreshment machine for the teachers' lounge. My morale was starting to build up. After collecting the money from the machines, I was able to gather enough money for the braces, and the doctor was willing to work a payment plan for his services.
After overcoming that obstacle, I entered another one. I was now three months behind on my mortgage payments, with an active foreclosure. I was really feeling terrible. The bank doesn't want to cooperate, they just want their money. Until a friend told me of the loan modification program, I was able to apply for that program, but they wanted some kind a reliable source of income. "What income," I said to myself, "the machines, of course." Well again this vending business bailed me out. I am very happy to have this income, coming in weekly. Some of my friends already finished their unemployment benefits, and are still broke and unemployed. I can proudly say, I am the owner of my business. Thank you.

Prior to The Office Deli, my mother and I just lived paycheck to paycheck and tried our best to keep our heads above water - always looking to the future when I could graduate and help out with expenses. But then I decided to change my major from Nursing to English (in hopes of becoming an English teacher), and my mother, determined not to let our financial situation hinder my future, transferred me from the state school I was attending to one of the best liberal arts schools in my field. Unfortunately, this was a private school, which only increased our costs. Faced with the prospect of either holding off my education or going back to my previous major, she knew she needed to something different. After months of praying, God sent us his answer: an invitation to The Office Deli seminar.
When my mother and I first bought the Office Deli, we were unsure how successful we would be, but we knew we wanted to change our lives so we took a chance. The wonderful thing about Planet Antares - certainly one of the many things we are grateful for in this partnership - was their support in getting our business off the ground. Without their help, we wouldn't have known what to do in terms of how to market ourselves or how to go about getting the permit. It was a great comfort knowing they were only a phone call away.
After about 3 months after, we were placed within a company! Again, our prayers were answered, and we were able to move the machine the following week. Fortunately, the business we partnered with was a reliable one - a training facility, with various people coming in every week! Thanks to Planet Antares' helpful guidelines and questionnaires about the type of businesses to work with, we were able to find one that best suits our interests for both safety, liability, and profit. Not only that, if we ran into any problems, Planet Anteres is always there to assist! For instance, our money changer had some issues. We were worried how expensive it would be to get it fixed, but as it turns out, all we had to do was call Planet Anteres, and our support team was able to help us try to rememdy the problem. When they couldn't fix it - they sent us a new part right away, at zero cost to us! It was such a blessing to know that we had that support, and we are truly thankful for it.
Labor was another one of our concerns. My mother worked 5 days a week during the day, and I was a full-time student, holding down two jobs. We worried we wouldn't have enough time to attend to the vending machine every week, but turns out our worries were for naught because true to their word, the vending machine did not intrude with our busy schedules! We come and re-fill it every week, and all the labor can be accomplished within an hour at most! To be able to have that extra income was a big help to us and our future goals.
Honestly, the best part about the machine is knowing that even when we're not there, it's still making us a profit. Thanks to our income, we are able to pay for gas and groceries - things we usually had very little for. In this economy, with the gas prices going up, we are very thankful for the support and stability that our machine provides.
In the future, we hope to buy a few more vending machines, so we could have a solid business. For me, this is my mom's retirement. As I said before, with the economy declining and social security in jeopardy, the vending business could be what saves my mom from poverty.
Mom and daughter business

Vending has been a large part of the reason we make the bills each month. We originally bought the machines for my husband to have his own business. The income it created was a great addition to our other ventures. About 2 years later, he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig disease). I took over with the tremendous help of my children. Shortly after, we found out we were expecting our 5th child. With the help of my oldest two boys, I was able to continue servicing our machines through this time. My husband immediately went on disability and the government is helping some. I was already running another business when we purchased the machines for him. My other work started slowing up and I was able to replace it with the vending work. Now a year and a half later, it is just me and the kids running these two businesses. Everything runs on a schedule and they know just about every aspect of the business. They can inventory and make a purchase list, they can stock and count the machines, they can fill out the route sheet and they count the money.
Since all my children are homeschooled, we work different "parts of the job" into their curriculum. If they are studying decimals, I have them add the collected money on paper. If we are working on division, then I have them figure the cost per product. If we are studying occupations, I have them observe a business where we have a machine and give a small report of one person's job. Several of our locations are family friendly and will let their employees take 5-10 minutes out of their time for the children to do a small interview for their reports. They are able to see my work ethic and level of professionalism and learn to become honest, hard working businessmen; something that is grotesquely missing in many aspects of today's world.
Running our own business has allowed us the time to enjoy each other and work with a flexible schedule. We get to go on road trips fairly often. We have been to Houston, TX; San Antonio, TX; Memphis, TN; Peoria, IL; Lincoln, NE; Altus, OK; Independence, KS; and Little Rock, AR, just to name a few as well as all the states in between. While we pass through different cities and towns, the kids will sometimes play a game of which businesses might make a good location and give reasons why. My children are also able to enjoy a variety of extra-curricular activities without the worry of mom getting across town in traffic to make the start time. We are always able to be early and I am always able to go to all of their games, competitions, and recitals. We are able to visit with extended family more often and learn firsthand about each branches heritage and legacies. This truly is a family business, from performing the manual labor to make it run, to benefiting from the profit that it produces and able to share all the experiences together in between. This business is the centerpiece around which our family has grown closer together.

Prior to starting my vending business with Planet Antares, I didn't know a vending machine from a vacuum cleaner. I thought the model of a vending machine business was a great one for me, providing additional cash income and the prospect of a non-traditional dynamic, not working a typical 9 to 5 job (which usually means a 60+ hour work week). Moreover, I admit I was apprehensive about my mechanical acumen.
I was excited, however, that it would provide me my own business. Being an entrepreneur of sorts and having another business to supplement my wife and my independent financial business, was a huge factor in my decision to go ahead and buy three Office Delis from Planet Antares.
After being in it for 10 months, I can honestly say that it has showed me that I have a lot more mechanical ability than I thought I had. Like I said, I had no idea how a vending machine worked. I do now. It probably took me five months to "get it" with this business. I have had some challenges, like slot D-4 soft drinks dispensing and then being punctured afterward. With the help of Bettie Wilson and the technical staff we finally determined that the screws at the bottom of the access door were the reason Pepsi cans were being "popped" with needle like holes.
It was scary because for several days, no one had a clue. Finally, I duct taped the bottom screws and no more problem. It was simple deduction, but I don't think I could have made it through the process without the encouragement I got from the staff of Planet Antares.
Other "mechanical" problems surfaced, i.e., the jamming of the coin changer, three shattered snack door windows, the inability of the bill collector to accept dollar bills (a broken plastic spoon inside the opening was found to be the culprit), etc. were scary at first, but I found that from these "problems", I learned a lot about vending machines. "Experience is the best teacher," no question about it.
The best part of this business is collecting the money each week and not having to play the political games that come from a typical office bound job. The first key to it all is "running your business lean." Spend only when necessary and then as little as possible for product. Constantly shop around for the best price.
The other key is the location in which you place your machine. I moved twice this year and its doubled my income. The third key is sticking to the basics. Don't try to invent the wheel. Follow the technical instructions of the Office Deli CD to the letter. Load the slots properly or else Lays Potato chips or M&M Peanuts will not vend and guess what? You'll have unhappy customers and no money in your pocket.
I will purchase another Deli in June and will use my income from Vera Cruz Vending to purchase the machine, coupled with the cash discount coupons I have earned. Long term, I intend to have 10-12 Office Delis in place over the next three years and then I'll decide what do to then. Probably buy more Office Delis.
This has been a very positive experience and an eye opener for a total klutz who thought he could no nothing more than change a light bulb.

From the day we heard the Planet Antares presentation in Jacksonville, Florida to the day we were offered a chance to begin our very own vending business, both of us had sleepless nights because of our excitement about it all. Most of that has worn off but not with any regrets. A different kind of excitement exists like when we find a new customer, get a kind word or two from our customer's employees and the reward of joy when we provide a needed service in our community.
We were both retired and living the good life, so we thought, when something was missing. Not sure what it was, just knew we were not able to enjoy life to its fullest. Fixed incomes don't lend themselves to doing everything life has to offer! So, we dabbled in rental property and coral calcium sales, neither of which had produced any promise. We were paying the maximum in taxes and tired of slipping backwards financially. Frankly, we both were working hard instead o smart!
Now we have a solid vending business that is all ours and we only work it part time. We like the early mornings best, servicing from 0730 hours to 1100 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We like to get products on Wednesday mornings. Every other week we take three-day weekends to relax on the boat or at our favorite spot in Punta Gorda overlooking the Charlotte harbor. (photo) All afternoons are reserved for promoting our business, naps, and personal time. We both feel that we are living better, are more involved in the community and we are meeting new folks almost every day.
Our chests fill with pride as we are greeted at the door by our customers as Duke Daddy and Duke Momma or the moment we sealed the placement of our last new refreshment center just before the 120 day deadline to earn a $500.00 discount toward our next machine purchase or learning how to roll a quarter sleeve for deposit at the bank. At the risk of sounding corny, we take comfort in knowing that we have a coach as close as the phone to lean on when we need help. When we needed a part for the machine and/or dollar bill changer, it was in our hands within two business days from request. The most valuable experience offered by Planet Antares, Inc. was the free business letters they would mail to leads from us. We placed most of our refreshment centers in this way.

My fiancee and I were introduced to the Office Deli in June of 2009. We were both working full time at that time, and planning to get married in Hawaii in December. I would celebrate my 35 year service anniversary with a large corporation in July of 2009 and my fiancee had 24 years with his company. We saw the Office Deli and vending business as a means to be able to transition into retirement. We had both experienced recent life changing events and were not where we needed to be financially to retire. Little did we know in June that I would be forced into early retirement the very next month, in July, when my company announced a large headcount reduction.
Our original purchase was 3 Office Deli's, which we placed into service in August, immediately following my early retirement. We now have 6 Office Deli's placed and our goal is to have 10 by the end of our first year in business and 20 in service by the end of our second year in business. Since we did have to finance the initial Office Delis, our net income is not that substantial at this time, but the machines are paying for themselves. In addition, the business has provided a wonderful tax shelter which is almost like an additional salary. We are finding that to be the best benefit of all at this time in our growing business. We anticipate it continuing and increasing as our business continues to grow.
We feel that we have been fortunate in establishing our business due to the support and guidance of our coach and the overall support Plant Antares provides. As complete novices in the vending business, we had a sharp learning curve and attribute our success to the support we received. The Office Deli does offer an attractive and functional machine. Two of our first three machines are in car dealership customer lounges. We have had requests for information about the Office Deli machines from quite a few of the car dealership customers. We anticipate that some of the requests will result in moving us to our targeted goal for the business.

Because of the vending business, we have been able to maintain our lifestyle and we're still able to get married and honeymoon in Hawaii for 2 weeks in December, 2009. And my husband doesn't have to work as much overtime as he did in the past to make ends meet. Since we provide the vending service as a team, we can now spend that time together.

Our Offices Deli machine machines have had a positive impact on the Pearson household. The first benefit allowed our family to own our business and realize the dream of being entrepreneurs.
Our business is named Petite Cafe Vending. The machines are located in a large industrial section in a Washington, DC suburb. Petite Cafe Vending customers represent people from various backgrounds and diverse cultures. We are very proud of our machines and the revenue it produces. Frequently, we are asked various questions such as: "How did you get started?" or "How much time do you devote to the business?" Folks from all walks of life have made inquiries, however minorities seem especially intrigued by our business. As an African-American family we are proud to be seen as role models that operate a successful small business.
The partnership between Planet Antares and Petite Cafe Vending has been very beneficial. After being selected for a distributorship, Planet Antares has provided outstanding support to help our small business flourish. The most prominent example of support occurred when one machine on site started working improperly after an unauthorized move. We had to assess the problem and communicate our problem to our business coach (Chris). His diagnosis correctly identified that wires being cut during the unauthorized vending machine move. The replacement parts were shipped and Chris arranged a conference phone call to assist in proper installation. Petite Cafe Vending appreciates the efficiency, competence and professionalism of Planet Antares distributor support.
The additional income generated from Petite Cafe Vending has helped secure the purchase of a new SUV automobile. Furthermore, Petite Cafe Vending has provided significant business expense deductions to help lower our taxes.
Another benefit provided by Petite Cafe Vending is economic stability. Especially in this period of economic downturn, the reassurance that our family has a family business to rely upon if someone in our family loses their job. If someone in our family was laid off there would be no need to update the resume and spend time "hitting the streets" looking for another job. Why? Petite Cafe Vending is currently a part-time business but can be easily adjusted to be a full time enterprise. The flexibility our small business provides allows us to continue to thrive in a growing or slow economy.
Surprisingly, the vending business encourages help and suggestions from individuals. Purchasing products from vending machines is a task that has been performed by most individuals. This "vending purchase" experience has given our business direct feedback from consumers on which products sell and ideas on how to create more vending traffic for product consumer purchase. Additionally, consumers have told us they are more cognizant of vending machines after speaking with a vending machine owners like our family. An informed consumer helps our business by providing valuable information to help maximize profits
Providing good quality products and service is the biggest reward operating a small business. Customers are happy to see the "vending crew" and wonder what goodies we have brought for this week. Petite Cafe Vending is especially proud to service a head / physical injury rehabilitation agency where our customers overcome physical and mental challenges and appreciate and look forward to the "vending crew" filling the machines. The vending machine business provides the opportunity to put a smile on a person's face and makes the day a little brighter.
Petite Cafe Vending

From the first encounter with the company over two years ago, I have met and worked with over the phone helpful and kind people. This makes the starting of my business fun and worthwhile. All the information on setting up the business and using the flyers to promote my business were great.
Last year was going to be a bad year due to this tough economic depression and unemployment times for me. Plus meeting a new woman that I started to date. My vending business has helped out in all those little extras that go along with a new girlfriend, more so one that has kids.
To start, I was cut back in hours for three months, then let off two months, then brought back and moved around to help out their schedule where I worked, but that did not interfere with my vending business only helped out in paying some little bills like phone, water and electrics. Just wish I could have had more machines during this period to build up my business during these times.
My new girlfriend that I just started to date about 8 months ago has three kids and they love helping me with the machines and give me new ideas every week to improve and grow my business. Plus, with this vending business it gives me more time with my new girlfriend and her kids to make a better foundation to bring it maybe to the next level. Also, if everything works out with us the kids they could take over the vending business and make it bigger and better to give them the freedom to do many things people of their age don't get to do. Like take long vacations. Along with all that maybe my girlfriend and I can retire then the kids can take care of us.
This has helped me out during Christmas for extra money and time to spend with my new girlfriend and her kids. Really all the holidays the extra money helps with the time most of all to spend with my girlfriend and time with her kids. Thanks to my vending business I'm surviving a lot better.
The best things I like about your company is how absolutely friendly, organized and helpful everyone I meet and talk to has been to me. Everyone has been extremely helpful from the start and continues to be helpful in getting me more placements or better locations. Along with your flyers each quarter that give me ideas on new vending items and changing the style of your new machines. This makes me feel that I'm not alone in this business.
The best thing it has done for me is: Build up my people to people skills or you could say salesmanship skills. I like to say more that it helped me get out and talk to people, make friends, be more social. I've always been more behind the people or in the shadows not in front but with this new vending business you have to get out there be friendly and interject with people. This has helped me in so many ways that it's better than taking a class which you have to pay money for. Plus, if you are good at your salesmanship you make money. Bottom line, this company has given me a lot more than just a vending business, it gives me a new look on life.
My success is not over , this is not an overnight expansion and growth business yet, but in time with the strategy that people are giving me and the help your company has given, this may be a success story. There were times along the way I did become discouraged but that did not last long.
I'm sending you some pictures of new girlfriend and kids to show you how happy this vending business of mine has made me along with how my life has changed.
So thank you for this opportunity . Not many windows are open to improve and change your life along with help others along your way. So thank you again.

Coming across the opportunity to attend the Planet Antares conference to begin with was a savor because I was having a difficult time finding a job. My partner (My Father) & I started the company in Jan 2009 with two Office Deli's & really made a good impact with the companies we serve over the previous/ current vending companies. The economy got tough & we had to do extra planning o salvage the product so it wouldn't expire in large amounts but it still brought in money to become a part of the BBB (Better Business Bureau) & give to other great opportunities threw out our local community to have our name recognized. I have so much time to enjoy working on hobbies, doing work around the house that has been put off for some time, plus I'll finally get to take flying lessons to see the world from a beautiful view point.

I would like to start by saying thank you for the invitation I received in the middle of 2008. It was such a professional presentation. I had always thought about doing a vending business and when I saw your Office Deli I thought "WOW" this is the Cadillac of vending machines. I knew then I wanted to do this and get a business going with these machines.
The appointment with the representative Julie Taylor was conducted in a very professional manner. I knew at that point they were looking for the best of the best to represent their company and how many machines you could afford was only secondary. When I was accepted as one of the Las Vegas distributors I got a chill that ran up my back. I was so excited I almost screamed with delight. She gave me her personal Planet Antares phone number if I had any problem getting the money together.
After receiving my 5 machines and watching the DVD many times provided by your company it was hands on time. Everything went very smooth after taking a TV & DVD out in the garage and following each step very closely. Planet Antares made it very easy to assemble and getting products to deliver.
I received perspective locations from Eugenia Cobb in a very timely manner, and am very proud to say that 3 out of 5 are still in their original location. The other 2 I had to move due to the recession and the layoff of their personnel.
There were a few minor problems I had, with a couple of things that I had no idea how to fix. I called my coach and within a 24 hour period a technician got back to me and walked me through how to correct them. They are very professional at what they do and did everything needed to help me.
Before getting into the vending business I was working a 40 hour week with a fixed income and not a lot of benefits such as sick days, or personal days off for family problems.
On August 18, 2009 I had a 100% arterial blockage resulting in a heart attack. I was hospitalized for one week after surgery without pay. Having these machines was a life saver for extra income in that dilemma.
My girlfriend who is my partner in this business took over filling the machines, which was a major help in keeping product moving and bringing in extra revenue needed to help pay bills that would have been late.
My oldest son has had Cystic Fibrosis which was diagnosed in his late teens. It's a deterioration of his lungs. He has never been able to hold down a full time job for any amount of time. He was classified as totally disabled allowing him to collect social security. To help him out, I co- signed for a loan on a truck so he could have somewhat of a normal life. His social security was enough for him to pay the loan and have extra money for gas, a cell phone and other essentials a young man needs.
In September he was hospitalized for a broncastomy which is having his lungs vacuumed out. On October 1, 2009 after this procedure his oxygen saturation crashed to 53 that could have been terminal.
He was transferred to USC Medical Center for a double lung transplant. Social security dropped his income to $50.00 a month since he was not living at home. Having this vending machine business has allowed me to make his truck payment even though my hours at work have been cut to 35.5 instead of my usual 40. He had the transplant on February 24, 2010 and was very successful. He was discharged from the hospital on March 24, 2010 and is doing very well. Full recovery is still months away to regain his strength but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I didn't realize that starting this vending machine business would change my life for the better and make it possible to help me out to pay bills while hospitalized after my heart attack and to be able to help my son out while waiting for his double lung transplant.
One of the best experiences has been the people I have met and the friendship it has created. I've only got started a little over a year ago, but I know this is something I will also enjoy doing. I can't wait to get more machines to secure my future for me and my loved ones.
If it wasn't for Planet Antares machines I have no idea what I would have done. Thanks to all who have helped me and I look forward to growing my business larger in the very near future.

In September of 2009, my wife Teena and I bought 5 Deli machines. In retrospect, they saved our lives!
Teena and I first looked at the vending machine business about 10 years ago, and again about 5 years ago, but were not comfortable with either scenario. Then we attended a PLANET ANTARES SEMINAR and came away as two excited 60 somethings.
We, like a lot of people had lost a lot of money in the market crash of 2008 (yeah it happens to Financial Advisors also) and we knew that what we had left was not going to allow us to live the lifestyle we had become accustomed to. We knew we had to find a source of income from our existing assets that would not expose them to market cycles, like the stock market. We found this opportunity with PLANET ANTARES!!!
We received our machines in October of 2009 and placed all 5 in November 2009. I was a Financial Advisor for a nationally known financial services firm, and Teena works for contractor for AT&T. She travels about 15 weeks a year.
In December of 2009, my back problems got to the point that I required major surgery. I was told I would not be able to return to work or help in the vending machine business for 3 months. My employer responded by forcing involuntary retirement on me. We were in a pickle!, but my wife, God bless her, sucked it up and took care of me worked her job AND ran the route on the machines!!
The income from the machines was a God send. We are currently moving one of our machines from a location with 11 employees to a location with 35 employees that is hiring an additional 30 employees. We have a verbal agreement with another location with 90 employees to install one machine and if necessary to install a second within 45 days.
Our concern is not finding excellent locations, but how are we going to pay for all these machines we are going to need?
We plan on buying another DELI machine this summer, and perhaps two more before the end of the year.
THANK YOU PLANET ANTARES
Tom and Teena S.

Greetings from sunny Florida!
It's Tom Trowbridge and Sheri Fiocco from Port Charlotte, Florida. We are a brother and sister team who started our business in November of 2008, when we placed our first 2 vending machines and Variety Vending was born. We also have the help of tom's two sons, Brian and Kevin and my son Miles and daughter Stephanie whenever she is available.
This business opportunity couldn't have come along at a better time. I had just lost my full time job the end of February 2008 and desperately needed something to occupy my time. With Southwest Florida being hit hard by the economy, jobs here were few and far between and this gave me a reason and purpose to get up every morning. By mid October 2008, I had a very part time job where I was finished by noon every day. After leaving my job, I would go to my mobile waterfront office. Yes, I said waterfront . . . and what a view!! I would drive to the park and park my car facing the water where I could see the boats and other activity going on. There I would make calls to places where I had left information about the vending machines. Something good always happened while I was there. There were times when I had to leave my waterfront office early because someone was interested in our vending machines and wanted to meet with me to go over details. How wonderful and exciting. If I wasn't busy making calls, I would be driving around looking for locations for our 11 snacks and beverage machines. At this time, Tom was working 80 plus hours a week leaving him with little time to help. Our agreement was since I had more time, I would work at placing the vending units and tom would be my muscle team when we had to install them at the locations.
I remember one day calling tom and leaving a message on his phone letting him know I had 2 ending machines placed and if he wanted to know where, to give me a call. When he did call, I told him that was old news because I had 3 locations now! He was very excited and pleased with my work for the day!! That was just an incredible day. What a feeling it was to know you did this for yourself, your own business! This business has taught me marketing skills as well as knowing how to sell your product. That's something I thought I could never do. My whole attitude from the beginning was to just go into the local businesses and ask if they may be interested in vending machine or new vending service. The worst thing they could tell me would be no . . . but there was always the chance they might say yes!! When they did, it was great and gave me even more reason to keep going.
When we placed our first 2 vending machines at LaQunita Inn, we took pictures of them and of our first customer. How wonderful was that for this man to allow us to take his picture for our scrapbook! I think we all were on cloud nine that day. We are proud to say that all 11 of our vending machines were placed by February 16, 2009.
Now the tables have turned. I now have a full time job as of December 28, 2009 and tom took a step down at his job so he could spend more time with his family. I do accounting and therefore have a day job (8 to 5), and Tom works in the grocery industry where his job schedule is much more flexible. At this time, Tom has taken on most of the responsibility of servicing the majority of our units and I do the ones that can be serviced after 5 p.m. I almost had to fight with Tom to let me service a couple our 24/7 locations to help him out, because he just like going there and didn't want to give them up. Go figure that. We do balance each other out well. Tom has the grocery expertise that he has passed on to me and both our sons. That has been such a blessing for our business. As tom says, his the Master and we are the Grasshoppers. I am Head Grasshopper, very important.
Tom keeps a close eye on our inventory and product dates so we keep product moving and rotating, so we don't lose product to expiration dates. I set up our office files and make the forms we use with the business. Tom makes all the bank deposits which he loves doing. Money, money, money makes us happy!! Brian helps out pretty much on a weekly basis now and Miles and Kevin help us out when we need them. It's so wonderful to have everyone working together to achieve the same goal for the family.
We are not making big bucks at this time, but the business is holding its own. Tom has found some new locations for a few of our machines that we needed to relocate. We haven't relocated them all yet as we are currently coordinating installation times with the new locations. One location will be close to my job and I will be able to service them on my lunch hours.
Variety Vending is our business but it doesn't seem like a job to us. We have so much fun with it! Getting to know the people at our locations is really nice. We service all our locations the way we would want to be serviced. This is the best job we could have!! Meeting new people and networking with them. What more could you ask for?
Our goal is to grow Variety Vending so it can support us and enable us to quit our full time jobs. We want this so much that at times it seems more like a lesson in patience than the business itself. We are confident that as southwest Florida recovers from the economy, Variety Vending will prosper and grow. Failing is not an option. We will succeed!! After all, we want and will be our family's first self made millionaires!

Thank you for providing a wonderful opportunity for us at a perfect time. It has helped us to grow as individuals as well as a family and have fun in the process. We couldn't have done this without you.
Tom T. and Sheri F.

Our Thoughts on Vending To you We Are Sending

Planet Antares has given
the chance
To move ahead,
That is, to advance
Whether making money Or promoting self-esteem
Planet Antares Creates the beam.
The beam of light
To move ahead
Opportunity, not defeat,
It gives instead.
Most of us do
have a few dollars
But with Planet Antares
Our future is solid.
Who would have known
That a nickel or dime
Would mount to a life
That is so sublime?

Sure we have headaches
And race around,
Filling machines
With products abound.
But thanks to Antares
What can we say?
Our cash flow is vibrant,
And here to stay.
Some vendors have banks wanting more of their cash
they bring in bags but it sure is not trash!
It saves the bank money With our deposits on time
So they don't pay fees For quarters, nickels and dimes
So, thank you, Antares,
For coming to town
To show us the best business
There is around

Vending Poem

When my wife of forty-nine years and I were introduced to the office Deli in early 2009, I had not made a sale in real estate for six months. Since we were heavily invested in rental property, we were looking desperately for a way to generate cash quickly that still allowed us the time required by real estate sales and rentals. The vending business looked like it would offer us a way to put food on the table and make a vehicle payment without completely exhausting our retirement savings.
Although neither of us had any experience in vending sales, the office Deli was unlike any vending machine or system we had ever seen. In addition, the Planet Antares program of video training beginning with initial machine testing and placement at client locations has provided us the opportunity to become comfortable with the equipment and product selection prior to placing our first Office Deli in the field. Furthermore, the availability of technical support by phone has enabled us to resolve trouble shooting issues like "experts," with minimal or no loss of sales.
The total population in our county and zip code areas is less than 50,000 people. We have very few businesses with over one hundred employees; the majority employing fewer than fifty people; so naturally our start-up has been slow. We sometimes move a machine two or three times to find an ideal location, but it costs us only $50 to move an Office Deli; and no more than two days to be up and running at the new location.
To date, I still haven't made a sale in real estate, but thanks to our vending business, we are surviving!
Following are some of our first year's observations about our vending business:

  • We've yet to encounter anyone in our zip codes who has ever seen an Office Deli.
  • It's rare to find someone who's satisfied with their current vending services.
  • Thirty-eight selections in the space required by an O.D. are unchallenged by any competition.
  • In locations where coffee is provided to employees and/or the public breakfast products.
  • Muffins, donuts, honey buns, cinnamon rolls-sell great from the entrée machine.

We received the mailer about Wealth Builders the very day my husband got laid off. He came home and told me he lost his job and it was a very low time for us. We didn't know what was going to happen but getting the flyer in the mail was intriguing. I don't think we would have considered it if he had not just been laid off. Both of us thought "yeah right" but I know also a little voice inside of us felt hopeful too.
We kicked the idea of going to the seminar around and finally thought "why not" we have nothing to lose. So we attended the seminar. We liked the presentation but we both had a lot of questions and calling to other Planet Antares vending machine owners all over the country was very helpful. We began to get excited about vending but we still did not know how we were going to afford it. Our first meeting with our "advisor" was less than ideal. First he was late for our appointment, then the meeting went on and on and finally we had to cut it short because I had to get back to work. We pretty much wrote off getting the machines but we still wished we could make it work somehow.
It wasn't until a month later that we received a call saying that Planet Antares still had room available for us in our area and were offering a special incentive to get in. I still did not hold out much hope but we decided to give it a try again. But this time we decided to get some advice and possibly an investor. We spoke with two family members who had a lot of business experience. After we explained the business and how Planet Antares helped with machine placement they were impressed. They both said that placement of the machines was key. I didn't think they would go for it but I was pleasantly surprised when they decided to give us a small loan to start our vending business. If you don't ask you don't receive.
We received our machines and went through the checklist of setting them up. It was a little intimidating at first but we got the hang of it. We prepared and set out our first mailing. We also included our business card in the mailing. It took less than two days after the mailing and we received a call that a business wanted to set up a meeting right away. We were so excited! This was a good business, over 85 employees, open seven days a week and a 24 hour office. They had two gigantic vending machines which looked like the product was really old. The office manager took a liking to us and decided to give us a chance. They really like the idea that they were able to have some input on the products that went into the machine. She also said we needed to service it at least once a week if not twice a week. We agreed and it has been a great account ever since.
It took a little longer for our last machine to place but it was worth weeding through some locations that we knew were not going to work out. One location really wanted us to place our machine there but they also wanted us to "rent" the space by giving them a percentage of the proceeds from the machine. We were tempted at first because we wanted to get the machines out and working right away but when we penciled out our cost of servicing that location we found out that we would have been working for them instead of ourselves. We just had to be patient. It paid off with our 3rd mailing. We got another location almost as good as our first. They really like that we let them choose the produce (with a list of choices from us of course). Plus there was not "rent". They were just happy that we were going to be servicing them on a regular basis and that they could choose what they wanted.
During our first year we have had some mechanical issues with the machines but looking back I am glad we had those difficulties with things breaking down because we now feel we can fix almost anything. Also the service department was great. When we needed help they were there talking us through what we needed to do. After the dollar changer jammed I was able to change it out myself and I felt good about that. Sometimes you have to deal with someone trying to mess up your machine and there are going to be repairs so it is really nice to have someone in your corner like Planet Antares that is able to help you.
One machine that we placed through a friend has not performed well. We have been disappointed but when I spoke with our Planet Antares advisor she said she would send out more mailing labels and flyers to do another placement. No questions, no hassles just "you need to find another location" and we will help you. Planet Antares has done everything they said they would and I appreciate their integrity as a business partner.
On a personal level the business has really helped us out and it has also been a great teaching tool for our children as well. Our son now helps in the business and I know it has been a real learning experience for him.

My wife, Patricia Jane Miller, received an invitation to a Wealth Builders Conference to be conducted in Greenville, South Carolina in March, 2009. The invitation grabbed her attention and after considering it for about two weeks, and not being able to cast it aside, she shared it with me. She explained how strongly she felt about going, so we decided to attend.
We were highly impressed with the quality of the presentation and organization, and the care provided by the support team. However, when we were told that from among the hundreds attending, only twenty-five would be chosen to be given the opportunity to participate in the program, our spirits sank. We carefully and with enthusiasm, completed everything our representative, Larry Staples, asked us to do, but were disappointed by not being one of the twenty-five chosen. Our prayer had been that if it were not the Lord's will for us to be chosen, He would close the door tightly. We accepted the decision.
To our surprise, a few weeks later, we received a letter that the door had cracked open. One of the original twenty-five had dropped out, and we along with others, were being reconsidered. We were again excited and felt more confident as we worked with Xavier Alvarez to provide all he requested. We were chosen and jumped in with both feet. We chose the 8 plan and, as soon as we received promotional material, we prepared fliers and mailed them. With the self-promotion package, I started calling on prospects. I already had a commitment to place one at the bank where I negotiated the line of credit to purchase the eight machines. We placed the first machine on May 11, 2009 and three more were placed before weeks end.
The fourth machine was placed at the Oconee County Maintenance shop. They were so excited about the machine. They helped me place five more machines in Oconee County shops or offices. The fourteen machines we have placed to date have replaced six snack machines and seven drink machines.
Our customers have been very complimentary and encouraging to me. We enjoy servicing the machines and sharing with the customers. I have given out samples and am trying to provide the products they have requested.
My wife and I are very encouraged and excited about our vending machine business. We have purchased an Econoline Van, which has improved our ability to service the machines, and, it is fully paid for. We have added six more machines without increasing our debt. We are anticipating future growth as funds become available.
I am seventy-four years old and love the experience. My wife is a nurse and we are expecting to grow to where she can retire from nursing and work with me in servicing our many customers. We are so pleased that Wealth Builders invited us to participate and chose us to be a distributor.
We are very happy with our coach, Linda Hanson. She has responded and helped us with every problem we have faced. She has provided me with additional self-promotion packets, which I am very pleased with.
I have several other locations on the radar screen and am pressing forward with great expectation as we grow our vending business.
There is no doubt the doors are many. We just have to go out and find them and work to open them and enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you for the opportunity and continuous support.
Wendell and Patricia M.

After attending Planet Antares Financial Freedom seminar, we were excited to be chosen to start our very own vending business. It seemed so fast and overwhelming, and we were thankful for all the coaching and support we received from Planet Antares. We wouldn't have made it without you, and now have been servicing the Office Deli machines for two years.
I am a wife and mother of three children, ages six, five and five. I have enjoyed managing the majority of the vending business. I have the responsibility of placing orders when needed, picking up supplies with my children along, as well as doing most all of the paperwork. It is quite important to give my husband credit for the many times I just didn't know how to handle a situation or maybe just needed some encouragement or an ego boost! He was always there.
Our long-term goal when starting with Planet Antares, was to have something our children could be involved with. We also wanted to see ourselves doing this as a family. That has already come to pass, with five and six year olds wanting to help put chips in the machine, or stocking coins in their appropriate columns in the Office Deli! There are definitely occasions when time is limited and it would be easier and faster for Mom to do it, but willing hands are there, and I am reminded that one of our main reasons for doing vending is to teach the young ones some responsibility.
With the bustle of a young family life, a major advantage for us is the privilege to choose our own hours for servicing machines. Some days and weeks don't go a planned and it's needful to stock a machine after all the children are tucked in bed for the night!
We also want to mention the cash in hand. I remember at the seminar, the speakei talking about all the cash right at your fingertips. Well, it just sounded too good to be true! We are thankful for the opportunity to really see how one-dollar bills can add up. The cash flow has been very helpful indeed. It is exciting to use this cash to purchase more supplies and still have some left to spend or simply tuck away for later!
In the beginning, when trying to think of a name for our business, our financial coach encouraged us not to use something connected with vending. His reasoning was to leave the door open to build or add on to your business. We are now very grateful for that advice. My husband has quit his previous job and is self employed, choosing his own hours, vacation and family times. We have also been thrilled at finding and moving to our dream place with acres of pasture, a pond and lots of outdoor space for the children to roam and use their imagination. We continue to increase our number of farm animals to occupy the land.
In closing, we want to thank Planet Antares staff for simply being a phone call away. That is just another major benefit of this type of vending, to feel like you're on your own, but then when questions or problems come, having someone to count on to pull you through! Thank you again!
Wife and mother of 3

"It is just amazing how great it is to be doing this as my job. When I go to service the machines, it's like I'm going to see friends. There is no better feeling than going into a business, and all the people smile at you and say, Here comes the Candy Man. . . . It's a great job. Working with Planet Antares has been great also. They have done everything they said they would. Their help and support are second to none. I feel blessed to be part of this company. And the best thing is that I'm just getting started. I first got my machines on February 22nd, and I have come this far in such a short time: Today is May 21st."
Scott M., Washington

"Over the past ten years you have allowed us to grow a huge and successful business in vending. I often think of our relationship as a building block. Planet Antares gives us the tools; we simply put them to work. . . . I attribute our success to our hard work and dedication, but it would be unfair not to applaud your excellent distributor support system as well. Since starting our vending business, Edwina and I have had the opportunity not many women have been afforded: staying at home with our children, while having a successful business at the same time. This is why we love our vending business. It's all about family for us."
Alton & Edwina A., South Carolina

"The vending business has been a Godsend! I could not always make a living doing what I love to do, even when I was single, and I certainly would not expect a wife and possible future children to depend on that. However, I didn't want to give it up either because that would mean giving up who I am! So, I had to make a choice: either give up my dream, give up who I am, give up on the prospect of having a family, or find a business that provided security and enough time and control to keep doing the things that I love. It was during this most life determining dilemma that Planet Antares introduced me to the vending business, and it has completely filled the bill."
Scott H., Utah

"My decision to become a Planet Antares distributor has had a positive impact on my life for the following reasons: a) allowed me to resign from a stressful working environment and build a substantial business with flexible hours; b) enabled me to pursue areas of interest such as volunteer work, educational enrichment and greater involvement with church activities; c) enabled me to take advantage of the multitude of tax benefits available for small business owners; d) allowed me to contribute to a retirement plan through my business, giving me greater financial freedom and security."
Karen L., Georgia

"My wife and I started our vending business with Planet Antares in 1998, locating our first three Refreshment Centers using their locating system. She ran and grew the business with the help of our Planet Antares coach to ten machines in the first year. Each year since, we basically doubled the size of our business and in year six found ourselves with 141 machines. The professional attitude, first class printed materials, locating system and technical support were invaluable, particularly when we first got started."

"The vending business changed not only my life for the better, but the life of my whole family. Today my daughters are well versed in entrepreneurship which they wouldn't have learned anywhere else. On the "quality of life" side: we control our time, we spend more quality time together, have frequent and excellent holidays that we could have never afforded in the past. And when we are vending, we are a team; we work together as a family to complete all the tasks: from buying the product right through to counting and depositing the money. Even spending it!"

"I've tried a number of business opportunities over the years, but none of them were as easy as they sounded - until this one. Finally I found something that worked as advertised! The mailings were very professionally done and provided me with plenty of leads to get my business started. I was a little overwhelmed at first with all of the information given to me, but my questions were always answered promptly and the business has gotten easier and easier as I've gone along. I'm learning more all the time about which products and locations work the best to maximize profitability. I feel like a vending pro after only being in the business for six months, and I owe it to Planet Antares for getting me started."
